Dessia was working on the morning after a pretty bad motor vehicle accident. The two parents involved in the accident were to be admitted and their infant was to be discharged without injury. Several staff members went above and beyond in this case and Dessia was one of them. When the baby's grandmother arrived, she did not have a car seat with her. Dessia went to her own vehicle and removed her own child's car seat. She gave this car seat to the grandmother so that she could safely transport her grandchild back to her home in north Louisiana. Dessia definitely went above and beyond without hesitation.
