When my grandmother was first admitted to the hospital, the uncertainty was scary, and Destenie never failed to make our entire family comfortable and truly feel like she was receiving the best care. I watched Destenie care for her for 3 days with every ounce of love possible. I watched her change bed sheets and gowns multiple times in a row to be sure she was comfortable.

She worked so hard to be sure that we were all comfortable. I don’t know that I have ever crossed paths with a nurse who has more compassion or love for a stranger! You would have thought that Destenie knew my grandmother her entire life. Every time she entered the room she would tell us she was on our side.
