Destiny Felker, RN

My family was fortunate enough to have Destiny Felker care for my grandmother. My grandmother was placed on a ventilator for nine days, and every day, when Destiny was my grandma’s nurse, she treated her with exceptional care. Even though my grandma was on the ventilator, Destiny would talk to her and treat her with kindness and care every time she checked on her. Our family would often spend eight or more hours in the hospital, and Destiny always made sure we were as comfortable as possible and kept us routinely informed about my grandma’s status. When the decision was made to remove my grandma from life support, our family was so lucky that Destiny was our nurse that day. She made what was the worst day of our lives a little bit better by comforting us at every step and letting us have our last moments with my grandma.
