My dad has been sick for a long time due to the after-effects of Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. He is on dialysis with many underlying things. Multiple hospital stays as he continually fights infection after infection. During this stay, Devani has been working and providing care for most of his stay. Upon returning from one of his many tests, she immediately noticed my dad was not acting quite right. She launched into stroke testing and determined it would be best to call the doctor in as a precaution. The doctor decided to continue to monitor and, if there were any changes, would move on with further testing. Devani continued to monitor frequently, even though she had many other patients to care for. She is an amazing nurse. She takes the time to answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed. She frequently checks in on both my dad and us! I cannot stress enough how thankful we are for Devani’s professionalism, kindness, empathy, and smiles. She helps lessen an extremely stressful situation while being open and honest.
