My fiancé had my son. Let me say Devin was absolutely outstanding. I don't know if my fiancé didn't have her, what the outcome would have been. She was the charge nurse on the floor but took her as a patient. She went above and beyond 1,000,000 times; more than she had to.Devin walked with her doing squats in the hallway, made her sit and do pushing and breathing in different ways. When she wasn't getting the pain meds from her epidural, Devin knew it was wrong and called the anesthesiologist back to make sure it was right.
What got me was how caring and loving Devin was. She promised my fiancé even if after her shift, that she would stay; she stayed an extra 3 hours until our son was born. Devin hugged me and I cried, and she had tears in her eyes. You do not see this care often. I was so happy because if I didn't have Devin, I would have freaked out. The whole 2nd floor was amazing. I hope you recognize that you have that great of a staff member.
