It's always difficult when you have to go to the hospital, it can make you very nervous and anxious. However, I was fortunate to have Devorah as my nurse. She made me feel very comfortable. She ran in each time I hit the call bell for help, and was patient and caring. She always had a smile on her face. I am a pretty complicated patient, having five or so doctors on my care team; she was present each time a doctor walked into my room and with every new order (medicine, labs, tests) to help explain things to me. I felt like I was her only patient but I know she had five others. She was in constant contact with Dr. T regarding my sugar and insulin regime and Dr. A regarding my counts. It's quite obvious she had a great working relationship with all of her colleagues. I have unfortunately been in Ocean University Medical Center many times before and Devorah is by far one of the best nurses I have come across. Thank you, Devorah, for all you do every day!
