My son died while I was a patient here. When my family came to break the news, I was a mess. I was so sad, but Dewana was here. Dewana is such a bright and lovely nurse. She has a contagious personality. Before I knew it, I was laughing, and getting through the day was not so hard. I was so glad that she was here and that she was my nurse. She is a very kind person that God put in my life. I love you Dewana. My family loves you too. Thank you for taking care of me. There cannot be a nicer person in this world. In my bad time, you put a smile on my face. You are so special. May God bless you with all you ask for and more!

Dewana is one of the most kind, organized, efficient team players here. Her personality and work performance goes beyond exceptional. I have worked with her for many years and nothing ever changes about her. She is the same with each and every patient. Everyone of her patients loves her. Her interactions with them are far beyond great. She makes her patients feel comfortable and she takes time with them and shows concern and encouragement. She makes sure that her patients understand every aspect of their treatment, educating them in medications and their treatment goals.

They are always asking for her and wanting her to be their nurse. She is a go-to nurse that is always willing to help, whether it's offering compassion or concerns with patients or staff. She is my role model nurse and person!

Today I was working by myself with 11 patients and thinking it would be a stressful day. But Dewana made it a very good and stress-free day. Such a wonderful team player. She answered call lights without being asked, she assisted with patient care and always asked if I needed help with anything. She always goes beyond. She is a true definition of a nurse. I am so honored to be able to work with her. She is beyond excellent.
