Dezirae Preston, RN

Dezirae was a quiet but reassuring nurse. While I was on Swing Bed, I had a setback due to sore feet that resulted in me being unable to walk or bear weight. Then, the same weekend, I received news of my sister-in-law passing [away]. Dezirae sat and held my hand, hugged me, and let me cry and talk to her. She treated me like I was the only person in the unit. It was so comforting to me. The next day, she came in bright and early to ask how I was doing and made sure I was comfortable. She was so kind to me.
