Today, I was a witness to an amazing nurse who handled multiple situations seemingly effortlessly. I was having issues with transport to get to an appointment. Dhruvi Patel called, got everything in place, and handled multiple other problems and questions. A young man with special needs was getting agitated with his companion. Dhruvi went to him, calmed him down, and continued to do so throughout the morning. I hope that you are aware that you have some very special people and that Dhruvi should be acknowledged as one of these special people.

I was very touched by this nurse’s level of care and competency. As I had questions about new medicines and care, she always took a minute to answer my questions. She never got cross when attending to me, no matter how many tasks she had ahead of her. She also took the time to write on the whiteboard the upcoming schedule of meds, which truly kept me from feeling anxious. She has kept to the schedule she laid out with never a cross word. Her genuine care and attentiveness were greatly appreciated. You can truly and genuinely feel the attention and care she gave me, and I can only assume all her other patients. Ms. Dhruvi seems to genuinely care about her career and patients. Both her skill and personality truly exemplify what all staff should strive for. I am truly grateful for her care, kindness, and skill. She is the kind of person and nurse that others should pattern. I do hope that during my stay, she will again be assigned to me.
