My wife has had serious medical issues for 28 years. We have lived in 5 states in that time. Dia has stood out in how much compassion she has shown me as a patient's family member. Not only does she care for my wife's needs, but has also been very patient with me as I am always a basket case when my wife has been in any ICU. She explains everything to me, tolerates (with a warm smile) my many questions, and is able to calm me down a bit. Her clinical skills of 30+ years aside, she has still not lost that needed compassion for her patient's family member.
