From the moment I arrived at our family member’s room, Diamond introduced herself and made herself available to meet our needs. She was pleasant, compassionate, and professional in all of our interactions. She answered questions that I had about her condition clearly and with grace. The circumstances of that day were incredibly difficult as our family member experienced delirium. I found the staff overall to do their jobs well, but Diamond made an extra effort to ensure that we (the family) were also cared for.

As the day grew longer and it became apparent that our family member was facing the end of her life sooner than we had anticipated, Diamond encouraged us to go home and rest ourselves. She reassured us that our family member would be well cared for overnight and that we would be better able to support her if we rested ourselves. Her insight and wisdom were so much needed and appreciated, and her calm and gentle spirit was influential in calming us at an extremely difficult time. Thank you, Diamond! We will always remember you with gratitude!
