I have had the privilege of watching Diana grow from a CNA to an LPN and then work diligently through RN school. She consistently demonstrates a new confidence in her role with each skill she masters.  However, there is so much more to be said about this awesome nurse.

Diana is conscientious and diligent in the care she provides. She has great compassion for our patient population. She readily offers time to her patients in order to meet their needs while helping them feel valued and appreciated. She is selfless in her teamwork, readily offering assistance to her coworkers without hesitation and without reservation. She is always ready to try a new skill and always willing to learn.

Diana has worked hard to strengthen her resolve in recognizing critical situations with her patients and promptly/actively seeks resolutions before harm can befall them.

She provides encouragement and offers optimism to every situation. She does not relent in sharing a smile with others.  She maintains a positive attitude and demeanor every shift and strives to help others see the good that we all do every day.

It is for this reason that Diana is deserving of this DAISY Award. A token to demonstrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements she brings to our table!
