Diana is the absolute model of what an amazing nurse is! She was attentive, caring, reassuring, and professional. I had a shoulder replacement, and she was consistently checking in with me to ensure I was pain-free and comfortable. Diana thoroughly explained all procedures and answered all questions. The most admirable quality is that she came to the U.S. from Latvia, did not know any English, applied to Nursing School, learned the language, and served in an honorable capacity to her new home/community. Diana is also very modest and humble. This bit of personal info was only provided when I asked about her slight European accent! Providing a small piece of personal info to a patient gave a true sense of sharing, caring, and humanity. She also stayed past the end of her long shift after completing all her charting to come in and do a last check on me, say good night, and wish me lots of healing energy!
