Diana recently admitted a patient who was very ill. He came to us in a great deal of pain. According to report from ER, the patient was going to be transferred to another facility. Upon his arrival, he was oriented but so restless. He kept trying to get out of bed. She allowed his mom, sister, and stepdad to come to sit at the bedside and hold his hand. She spent the remaining four hours of her shift making sure he was comfortable.
