Diana Hastings, RN, BSN

A 13 year old male patient was rushed at the H & L Medical clinic convulsing, with a high temperature of 38'C, the mother did not have anyone to help care for her son at the moment, and the facility could not provide the services to save her son's life. Diana Hastings, the Nurse, was on shift and called for a quick referral to the referral hospital. Seeing what was happening to the boy and the way the mother was crying, saying no money for transportation. Diana was moved with pity to support them with transportation and accompanied them to the next hospital for proper medical attention for the 13-year-old boy. Diana visited them three times a week at the hospital and also regularly placed calls to know how the boy was coming on. He spent one month at the hospital while receiving treatment. Upon discharge the mother was happy to see her son alive again, she thanked Diana for her kindness and the role she played as a Registered Nurse.
