I had a spinal fusion, Dee was my RN when I returned from the OR and the next day until I was discharged. Being an RN of 50 years myself I couldn't help but notice her strong observation skills of my physical state combined with compassionate and a "healing" touch. She included me in on reports of my condition and on decisions when appropriate. Her grooming and speech were absolutely appropriate to her role. She made me proud to be a nurse. She was never hurried but always efficient. Even the US Army Core Nurse that originally trained me would have been proud of Dee!
