Diana always goes the extra "mile" in any help I ask of her. A patient with a difficult colostomy had been placed on 6M - Diana left her floor, took the new RN (from 6 Main) to central for supplies - helped her fix the appliance - showed her what to do - (this was a new RN on her first job). Diana was very compassionate and thoughtful in helping this new RN out. She carefully explained to the RN how to attach the appliance and the reasoning behind her actions.

She took time out of her busy night to help out a fellow nurse and share her knowledge. Her help was truly appreciated by me and the new nurse. The nurse make a comment to me that she wished other nurses were as helpful and kind as Diana was to her.
