A nurse on light duty was scheduled to take a day shift patient load, thus leaving the unit without enough nurses. Diana from the night shift was the charge nurse and without complaint took the report on the patient set and began passing meds until more staff could be located.

Diana calmly took charge of the problem and was very kind to the patients and the staff despite being at work for 15 hours. She never complained once that she would have to stay hours later and is such a team player.
