Diana Ramirez, RN

To work with somebody who constantly inspires you to be the best nurse, especially in this climate of burnout, is a privilege. On one particular night, I was drowning with two admissions and six patients and was only able to power through my shift with help from Diana. I thought my day would never end and it was a struggle for my peers as well due to constant admissions and short staffing. However, Diana's fortitude and constant willingness to help out by staying behind past shift change to help me with one last task despite how hard her assignments were, gave me strength. She is only a few months off from being one year as a nurse and she has made a huge impact on my nursing career. Let us recognize hardworking peers that make a difference in our lives as well.
