Diana is the 2nd shift charge nurse on 4-South. She demonstrates leadership every time she works.
She is fair, knowledgeable, supportive and kind. I strive to be like her.

Recently we had a young Mother of 2 on the floor with stage 4 lymphoma. Diana suggested helping her & her family out during the holiday season by buying/donating toys, clothes, & food. Our floor was able to donate a food basket, gift cards, and toys to the parents and her children. The patient was overjoyed. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in my nursing career.

Diana is always thinking of ways to show our patients how much we appreciate them. She is one of the most thoughtful people I've ever met not only as a nurse but as an individual as well.

She deserves the DAISY Award for all the compassion & skill she has as a nurse, for being an exemplary role model to staff and for being selfless when it comes to our patients.
