I am a 1 year heart transplant recipient and over a 10 month period I received infusions 3 times each week. During this period the entire Satellite Infusion staff was caring and helpful beyond reasonable expectation. Diana Tacla, however, consistently took those extra steps to assure my wife's and my good mental and physical health. She was routinely successful with my ever difficult to place and manage IVs. After the insertion of my PICC she expertly managed my allergies to the various tape types as well as my allergies to the normal regimen of antibiotic wound cleaners. She did all this with obvious care and concern in an upbeat manner that was infectious.

Midway through my treatment, my wife was diagnosed with cancer and Diana's encouragement and explanations helped us both deal with her disease and the necessary treatments. We've often sought her advice on navigating the health care system, explaining treatments and understanding care options.

My nomination is not based on one or two specific events, rather, it is based on months of wonderful and consistent care and concern.
