July 2023 Honoree
Diane Deangelis, LPN
I’m 68 yrs old and I don’t care about going to the doctor's office. My blood pressure goes up because I never knew what to expect. Everything is frightening to me when you struggle with several severe illnesses. Through it all, Diane was there, working tirelessly, and diligently, helping me calm and understand my health issues. She patiently explained things to me, sometimes more than I think I need. But it was done in a way that I can understand that this is very serious. If my blood pressure continues to escalate I would be on medication. She obviously cares deeply for patients. Mrs. Diane realizes that I like talking about plants and things so every time I go there she strikes up a conversation to see what I’m doing. This relaxes me and then she takes my blood pressure. She even explains how to use my home blood pressure cuff. She encourages me to keep doing what I’m doing because she can see a change. Mrs. Diane is a very pleasant and caring person, and it shows. Thank you, Mrs. Diane, for being the nurse that you are.
Thank you, Diane, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
