I floated to Senior Behavioral Health one evening and saw at the start of shift Diane bringing in Popeye's Chicken for a patient. The patient was so excited, her eyes lit up and it made her really happy. Also, since I was a float, Diane went out of her way to make me feel welcome and to be sure I had everything I needed.
In the morning, it was very loud with several patients yelling and she never lost her patience. I don't think the Psych nurses always get the recognition they deserve. She was great!
