Her commitment to Magnet principles and strategies has created a culture of excellence within our organization. Ms. Diane Ross is always open to new ideas and innovative approaches and encourages us to participate in various projects and initiatives that promote nursing excellence.
On behalf of all the Magnet Designees it is a collective honor to nominate Ms Diane Ross for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award, she is exemplary leader who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and significant contributions for our team's success.  Under her guidance, we the Magnet Designees have been mentored, supported, empowered to excel.

Her commitment to Magnet principles and strategies has created a culture of excellence within our organization. Ms. Diane Ross is always open to new ideas and innovative approaches and encourages us to participate in various projects and initiatives that promote nursing excellence.

Some notable examples of her leadership and mentorship include:
1:  Involving the Magnet Designees in the Employee Wellbeing Initiatives in collaboration with the Nursing Recruitment and Retention Team.
2:   Including the Magnet Designees on the editorial team of the Magnet Newsletter, allowing us to take ownership of the content and share our perspectives of the organization.
3:  Sending the Magnet Designees to attend the 2023 Magnet conference where we gained valuable insight of Magnet accreditation for our institution.
4:  Hosting regular Magnet rounds, coffee meetings and introducing new concepts to our units.
5:  Involving us in the design and planning process for the new Professional Practice Model, which was a historic moment for our organization.
6:  Adding a research study to the employee wellbeing initiative, demonstrating her commitment to understanding and addressing our wellbeing concerns.

These are only a few examples of Ms Ross's leadership and numerous contributions to our development as a nurse.  We are proud to be a Magnet institution under her guidance and mentorship as Ms Ross embodies the qualities that we aspire to emulate as nurses.  We eagerly anticipate her future initiatives and are grateful for her presence in our lives as nurses.
The Nursing Research department would like to highlight Ms. Ross's exceptional dedication and hard work.  She consistently goes above and beyond her assigned tasks to enhance the experience of nurses.  Despite being new to research, she bravely initiated a project that focuses on the wellbeing of nurses, we commend her courageous endeavors to improve nursing satisfaction, and we are excited to see the positive impact of her work within our community.
