Diane was my nurse for 2 days after my second surgery. (I had 2 abdominal surgeries in 2 weeks) She was so attentive to all of my needs. She provided all those little things (like mouth care) that are sometimes forgotten. My back ached from lying in bed and she was able to get a K Pad ordered. She tried to keep my pain under control, which was a difficult thing. Diane went above and beyond by calling the doctor or resident for things to help me. She is an excellent patient/family advocate for my nutritional needs, as I had IV replacement issues. Diane is kind, compassionate and an excellent nurse. Her experience and professionalism prove she goes above and beyond in her patient care. She always kept my parents informed on my progress. Diane was working on another floor and came to visit me to see how I was doing. Thank you, Diane, for your wonderful nursing care.
