Diane S Hupp, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN
In 2006 Diane Hupp brought the DAISY recognition program to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and has awarded the DAISY Award to a nurse every month for the past 17 years. Diane is deserving of the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award for being an early adopter of the DAISY recognition program and sustaining the recognition of nurses throughout the years.
While she may now be serving UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as President, she will always be an exemplary nurse. Diane was recently recognized with a DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award during Nurse Week 2023 at the DAISY Day Celebration for her dedication to nursing through active mentoring, role modeling, advocating for the patients, and promoting a positive image of nursing. She is an inspiration to all.
