Diane (Dee) is the Nurse on the MICCS team (Medically Integrated Community Crisis Services) - Mobile Team at BHS. The MICCS team is an extraordinary service provided by BHS - they work with patients in the community providing various important and necessary services, such as: Intensive Case Management, Individual Therapy, Spiritual Care, Psychiatry, and Telepsychiatry for patients who are not able to come to appointments at the clinic, etc.
Diane facilitates an Injection Clinic on Fridays in order to provide this service to patients that are non-compliant with medications and assist them in staying mentally healthy and stable. Diane goes above and beyond every day and in every way. She provides an invaluable service with homeless and acute patients by providing medical/wellness care that these acute patients may not seek due to their disorganized status (no phone, no home, no stability). She has also facilitated and taught Crisis Training Courses to the clinicians and BHS staff. She is truly appreciated and respected by the MICCS patients and the BHS staff.
