Diane Stephenson, RN, from the ICU at Baptist Health-Fort Smith, was nominated by a patient’s wife who said Diane’s fierce determination and unwavering advocacy made all the difference during a critical moment.

“She knew something wasn’t right and didn’t stop until she got answers,” the nomination read. “Her knowledge, skill, and tenacity saved my husband’s life. She’s also incredibly compassionate, and our family is so grateful for her.”
