Diane is a nurse who goes above and beyond every time she works. She impacts her patients most sacred moments by ensuring they are fed, bathed, and medicated on time, during every shift. She helps her techs with baths, bed changes, and transports. Diane makes her patients feel loved and cared for. Family members have said that Diane made them and the patient feel safe. She makes me, her co-worker, feel she could not do her job without me.
When our elderly patients are slowly passing, she makes sure they are comfortable and always talks to the family about what is going on. If I were sick, or a family member of mine needed care, I would personally want her as our nurse!
Diane maintains a positive demeanor regardless of the situation and always uses her Safety Toolkit by double checking medication orders, calling physicians and asking questions. She ensures what she does today will be perfect for the next shift.
