Diane is very thorough with her patients, she goes above and beyond her full-time job in the ACC as a Nursing Instructor, and is going for her Master's degree in Nursing. She is always willing to assist in any way.

Diane goes above and beyond in providing compassionate and very thorough care to all of her patient's. She is an asset to Lahey and deserves to be recognized.

I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Diane when she was a CAN on 5 West. She was hard working, kind and was enrolled in nursing school. She is a patient healthcare provider and a real patient advocate. She was an amazing nursing assistant and I was saddened to lose her as an assistant. Yet I was amazed at her abilities as a nurse and was able to see the blossoming of an amazing nurse. She was open to taking any patient and talking to doctors wanting to know the most intricate detail of the mechanics of drugs or the human body. Diane is a single mom and worked full time throughout her nursing degree adventure, but she didn't stop there, she continued on to achieve her Master's degree.
...
If you look up determination, hard work, compassion, Diane's photo will be in the dictionary. She is kind to her co-workers and her patients. She is not only book smart but she is people smart and has a funny, relaxed but articulate way about her. I am amazed everyday at her dedication to her job, career and family.
...
Diane has been a mentor to me. She is humble, and one of the hardest workers I know. She has encouraged me to go back to school and she is an amazing nurse. She is a people person and working with her is fun and educational. She is true to herself and her profession. If she doesn't know the answer, she will find it out for you. She is co-worker and she is a great friend.
...
She is supportive. She is always looking out for others whether it's in or out of work. She is a giver. I can think of no better way to show Diane that her 7 years of non-stop full time school while working full time and being an amazing mom to a teenage daughter, than to honor her with the DAISY Award.
