Dianna "Dee Dee" Runion, RN

Dee Dee consistently goes above and beyond to care for patients. Recently, she stayed 4 hours past her shift to make sure a pediatric spine patient woke up safely and well. She participated in every aspect of the operation, including getting instruments and necessary supplies, troubleshooting the cell saver, induction of anesthesia, etc.

She noted a breakdown in cell saver training and is organizing education for every Niswonger pediatric circulator. She is present, thoughtful, helpful, and a joy to be around. She exemplifies every technical and professional skill a nurse should have, while also adding joy to our everyday lives. We love her!
