Dianne is an absolute treasure to your hospital team. As a stage 4 ovarian cancer patient who landed in the hospital from an auto accident, I was in horrendous pain with a broken tailbone, ankle, and overall body pain. Dianne was so gentle with the bed sheet, pad changes, and repositioning in the bed. She heard what I said about pain and let me take my time to slowly use the bed rail and my own gravity to roll to each side, all the while showing me dignity and respect while being exposed. I felt so accomplished as a first step to healing. Never have I been given this much time to detail to find ways with pillows and position changes to reduce my pain and suffering. Her absolute kindness, gentle way, and patience for her patients defines the words for nursing excellence! Dianne gave 100% of herself to me as a whole person and set me up for hope to heal with broken bones and even in my continued cancer journey ahead. She deserves recognition for being an absolute amazing nurse treasure!
