He thoroughly explains everything to us and my husband, helping us understand the details and concerns.
My husband is blind, and often, it is difficult for him to communicate with staff. He underwent surgery. Dillon Reinert has been instrumental in his recovery process, showing remarkable care and effort. We, his family and siblings, are grateful for Dillon's nursing care. He thoroughly explains everything to us and my husband, helping us understand the details and concerns. We hope he receives recognition for his empathetic and caring approach.

Dillon advocated for a patient who was blind. He was patient, kind, thoughtful, and ultimately discovered a way to communicate using finger spelling. As a valued member of the CVICU medical team, Dillon contributes significantly during rounds, takes extra time to communicate with the family to ensure they understand the situation, and is highly responsive to the patient’s needs.

I am a nurse in the unit neighboring Dillon's. One night shift, I received a direct admit for transplant, a situation where timeliness is crucial. Despite multiple attempts, my fellow nurses and I were unsuccessful in obtaining the necessary labs/IV from the patient. Seeking help, I approached the CVICU, and Dillon immediately offered his assistance. With his ultrasound machine, he meticulously managed to secure everything we needed. Both the patient and I are immensely thankful for his timely and effective intervention!
