I am pretty new to the world of being a cardiology patient and started having frequent admissions since August. Since it is all new to me, I have been pretty anxious about everything and have tons of questions. Before she was my actual nurse, I had always seen Dilmanpreet Gill helping in my room and other rooms when their assigned nurses needed help. It was very apparent before I met her that she is a team player and is always willing to help, with a smile on her face. Then she became my nurse for a few days, and she was just incredible and went over the top to help me feel comfortable and supported. On the days she was my nurse, I could tell she had extremely busy assignments, but somehow she managed to always come see me in a timely manner whenever I had questions or concerns, or when I was not feeling well. Every day I had her, she went above and beyond to help advocate for me when the doctors were being resistant to things, and always acted like I was her only patient and always gave complete attention to my concerns. She was an extremely important part to my healing. It wasn't until the end of my stay that I found out she was a new grad! Despite having extremely busy assignments, she always came into my room composed and with a smile on her face and ready to help. It shocked me that she was a new grad - I was guessing she had 5 years under her belt. She was, and is, an incredible nurse and we are lucky to have her in our field, and I am lucky to have her as my nurse. I have never seen a new grad nurse as amazing as her. She deserves all the daisy awards!

Thank you, Dilmanpreet, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
