Dina is a senior nurse and House supervisor who has a wealth of knowledge and makes it a point to support and teach our 'novice' nurses with respect and professionalism. Not only is she supportive of our new team members, but she is also always first to help in other departments with any challenges they are facing. She maintains a calming effect on all those around her. On a personal note, I have had a rather challenging year with the loss of my mother and a critical personal diagnosis. Dina has gone above and beyond expectations to help me arrange appointments and keep straight the many opinions of the consults. Not only has she been my lifeline, but I have also observed her fill this role with many others including our patients. Baptist, but especially Nassau has been blessed with the care and compassion of such a special person.
