Dina was floated to the ED for a weekend. Not only did she take care of her own team but also went above and beyond in improving patient care and safety by helping other nurses and staff with critical care issues. She helped the staff with education on medications, EVD drains, lines, and overall care. Dina showed coaching skills and mentoring skills that were impressive and based off of evidence-based practice. Dina also had high acuity patients and was able to balance this all with a calm, great attitude. It was great to have access to a great co-worker when it was really needed; love to have her.
