In Dina-Rae I witnessed the eptome of the perfect nurse and angel of mercy. Before she became my mother's nurse I had observed her interactions with other patients, coworkers and visitors for a few days. She approached every person with an attitude of "what can I do for you", or "how can I help"?. I saw her respond immediately to patients that were not her responsibility, when other nurses were unavailable. Those that spoke with Dina-Rae treated her with dignity. She cared for my mother with such kindness and loving attention. We had some excellent nurses, but Dina-Rae was the only one who would find out answers to our questions. I have worked for many years in a hospital and Dina-Rae is outstanding in her knowledge, compassion and love with her first goal being the welfare of those all around her, but primarily the patient.
