Divina G Romero, RN

I had the pleasure of having Divina Romero as my nurse several times while as a patient in the mental health unit. I can’t put into words the compassion and genuine care she displayed towards me and several other patients that I observed. Her bedside manner was impeccable and professional at all times. She was very thorough every time she conducted an assessment on me. One of things that impressed me was anytime, I needed anything big or small, she was extremely quick to meet those needs. When it came to discussing personal or embarrassing details, Divina was extremely caring and always put me at ease and that’s an invaluable trait to possess especially during the stressful times that nurses face everyday during these times of the covid-19 pandemic. Divina is an ambassador of the VA’s “iCARE” values and is a true DAISY Nurse. She’s an asset to the Reno VAMC, and in my opinion, the entire nursing community. If I had the option of choosing my nurse, Divina would be my choice every time.
