Djenebou Coumbassa, RN

Djenebou “Boo” Coumbassa made mom feel much better and less lonely during her stay at BMC for a kidney stone and low heart rate. She took her on a fun wheelchair ride to get her out of her bed and to help her find the glasses she lost. She turned snack time into fun time and made mom feel special. She diligently checked in on mom and made her laugh and feel loved. She communicated everything very well so mom understood what the next steps in care were. Boo made mom’s stay much more pleasant and comfortable. She is an exemplary nurse with fantastic bedside manner and a heart of gold who deserves to be recognized for her hard work and kind spirit. Thank you, Boo! We love you too!
