Nurse Dominga is very good at what she does, she knows her job, and is very good meeting patient's needs. She is very good with people and was very, very helpful to me when I was at NCH. She is a great nurse.

Dominga seems to intuitively understand me and my life as a Crohn's patient. Many do not. A lifelong victim of this disease had put me in many a perilous point and so I know what it takes to overcome one more flare up. So does Dominga. A good nurse. Answers all questions, emphasizes what is needed from me, infectious smile, explains the medications in detail, memory like an elephant, never drops the ball, anticipates the next few steps, great appearance. I like Dominga and I will remember her and who she represents, NCH. In hospitals I find recognition to be important.

One of the worst days of my life health wise. I had an infection in my small intestine causing a blockage. Despite the fact I was sweating terribly, I had serious chills. The pain was extreme, and the pain medication seemed like it was not working at all. It wasn't until the later portion of the day I was moved from the ER to a room. It was there where I had the absolute pleasure in meeting Dominga Constantino, RN. After a brief introduction, Dominga observed the amount of discomfort I was in and she was non-stop attempting to make me comfortable.
Although Dominga had several other patients she made sure my pain level was acceptable or to see if I needed anything. She also explained in layman's terms exactly what my problem was and what causes it. She made a very negative day in my life turn positive. I would like to commend nurse Dominga Constantino for her knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to helping others in their time in need. She is an asset to the NCH Healthcare System. I am a retired police officer, spending 35 years of my life dealing with the public sector. I know there are some people who are not satisfied no matter what you try to do for them. It's that very special and rare person that continues to help with a very friendly, positive attitude. Nurse Constantino is that type of person. Thank you and keep up the good work.
