I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost appreciation for the remarkable care and dedication Dominique displayed yesterday in her assistance to one of our patients. Her commitment to upholding the values of both MCI and BHSF was truly exemplified through her actions. Upon learning that the patient, a wheelchair-bound female, was waiting for transportation following her chemotherapy treatment, her quick response and unwavering support were truly commendable. Her persistence in reaching out to the insurance transportation, followed by her decision to contact BATS for an ambulance, reflects her proactive and empathetic approach to patient care. Dominique's dedication did not waver even as the hours grew late, as she remained with the patient until the ambulance arrived at midnight.

I am a patient at MCI. I come every day for Proton Radiation therapy. My spouse accompanies me each time. Last week, the Proton department had an unforeseen delay and we left the building at about 6:30 pm. It was already dark outside. We were outside at the Main Entrance to MCI and were waiting for UBER to arrive. We let the Security guard inside know and she was kind enough to come out and check on us. Then, from nowhere, you appeared and offered to assist us. You graciously took the name and vehicle description of our upcoming UBER ride. You went out to the street to “flag down” the driver for us. In no time, he arrived and pulled up and we got in. That “extra mile of service” you provided was sincerely appreciated. As my spouse said, “We felt like we would have been out there all night had it not been for you.” What could have been a stressful time waiting, turned into a beautiful moment knowing there are wonderful people like you in this world. I can’t say enough about EVERYONE at MCI. We are fortunate to have this amazing state-of-the-art facility, filled with such caring staff, only 10 minutes from our home.
