Don Badillo, RN

A veteran was in a mental health crisis and fled from the Emergency Department. Don immediately chased after the veteran, although he was not the primary nurse, and convinced the patient not to jump off the roof of one of the buildings. Don was able to calmly talk to the veteran and keep him safe until the police arrived to assist with the situation. Don's quick actions and concern for our veterans and their safety saved this veteran's life.
