I was having an uncomfortable procedure performed by a doctor I was not familiar with - Don stayed with me for the procedure and was kind and caring enough to let me hold his hand when the procedure became painful. This was very comforting to me and I felt it was going above and beyond my expectations, and I appreciated it. I asked if he wanted to leave and he replied "NO" and stayed with me. This is just like Don to do - making patients and families feel comfortable.
