May 2022 Honoree
Donald Logan Tate, RN
Logan was the first nurse I spoke with after my father was admitted from the ER. Via phone call to the unit, Logan was very informative and patient with my questions regarding my dad’s situation. He forwarded my open questions to the Patient Care Coordinator and the hospitalist. He gave me the most current visiting protocol. Upon my arrival later that same day, he introduced himself and asked me if I had more questions. Most importantly, he took great care of my dad. He was very attentive and caring every day of my dad’s stay, which was ten days, though technically, he was only assigned to my dad on Day 1. Logan seemed to have kept tabs on how my dad was doing and helped us with smaller things when he didn’t have to. Logan is a major asset to your nursing staff and organization as a whole. Thank you for listening!
Thank you, Donald Logan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
