June 2017 Honoree
donathan parks, RN
My mom came in with a stroke before Mother's Day. Donathan was more than just a nurse to my mom. He cared about how she felt and made sure he humanized her experience. My mom is 85 years old and was very confused. He had patience and empathy for her. He tried not to get frustrated nor did he add to her frustrations and confusion. He looked at the whole patient. He was outstanding and helped not only ease my mom's fears and frustrations but those of me and my sister as well. He is a perfect example of the Piedmont image. He sets a high standard of professionalism and in personal care.
Thank you, Donathan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
