I'm dealing with breast cancer and Donell is the most caring and understanding person.  She is always so bubbly and always has a smile.  She spends as much time as I need to help me understand my procedure and answer any questions I have, and she goes above and beyond. Some visits I just need a friend to talk to, not just about my cancer, but other situations going on in my life and she is right there lending her ear and being so kind to listen to me babble on. 

The medical field needs to clone her so that everyone is just like her.  She is so knowledgeable about what her job is, and I almost feel as if she is the doctor that did my surgery.  She has been well trained and does her job above and beyond.  If I have any questions that come up, I know I can call the office, and they get her right on the phone.  I just love her so much.   I could go on and on about her and how she makes me have faith that my cancer journey will be ok and that I don't need to be scared but instead, hopeful, and that means the world to me.  

I know when my journey is complete, I'm going to really miss her.  I will probably sneak to the office once in a while just to say hi and see her bubbly smile.  She definitely deserves to be recognized for all that she does for people during this scary journey in their lives, and if she is recognized, please feel free to share this story with her.   I tell her every visit I go to that she is there, how awesome she is, and how much she means to me.  Thank you, Donell, for everything.  Never change who you are; we all need your bubbly smile and caring heart.
