Donna Ashton was taking care of a patient who had to stay in the hospital overnight. The patient stated that he was worried about his elderly mother who would be alone and possibly vulnerable without her son's help. The patient stated where he lived. Donna told him that she also lived in the same area and would check in on his mother if the patient would feel more comfortable. Donna gave him her phone number so if his mother needed anything, he or his mom could call her. Donna went above and beyond in this case.
