My son, 42, came into the hospital with anxiety, high blood sugar, and confusion. Then the night shift angel walks in, and it's Miss Donna, and she has a wonderful, loving spirit about her. She came in taking care of her patient on such a professional level. She says, "I'm gonna take care of you. You are my patient tonight, and I will take care of you. Whatever you need if I can get it, I will do it". That was just her way of working. She did everything you would expect a nurse to do before it was done. She talked with my son as though he was her son. He felt so much love for her, and from her, he said, "Mama, I wish she was my Auntie". My heart drops, I really can go on and on about her kindness and about her diligence of how she works. Everyone here on this floor knows her, and she's been here a long time. Her work ethic is 100% all the time, so they say she deserves this DAISY award, so much more than I can say. Thank You.
