From the moment Ms. Donna came into the room we felt a calming. She immediately recognized that D, my husband and the patient, was too tall for the hospital bed. She immediately went and got an extender, so he was more comfortable. She introduced herself and told D to call her and not wake his beautiful wife if she was asleep. She explained everything she was doing and always asked if we had any questions or needed anything at all.

We stayed overnight in a short-stay surgery room, and she definitely made sure we were both taken care of. Although all the staff were exceptionally accommodating and polite, she stood out to us. I would like her to know how much we appreciate her kind heart and compassion for her patients. She really made an impact on us. I am a nurse as well and to see special nurses like Ms. Donna still showing the kind of compassion, she did really warms my heart. So many thanks are due to Ms. Donna and Methodist LeBonheur Germantown for a wonderful surgery and stay.
