My daughter has a long history of having PICC lines, but this time was different. The care and attention that we received from your team was better than any care we have received anywhere else. Donna was our nurse and she went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter was taken care of. Typically, my daughter can only keep a PICC line in for about a week because her skin blisters and gets complicated tears that easily open so the central line has to be taken out. When the line has to be pulled, she doesn't get her full dose of antibiotics and this leads to several other issues, including painful needle sticks which is really stressful for her. For the first time ever, my daughter was able to keep her PICC line in because Donna was able to get her a special dressing that didn't cause her skin to blister and break out. Even my daughter commented that this was the first time ever that her arm wasn't in pain from the dressing; eliminating the pain that she usually experiences was a huge relief for us both. Donna and the Procedure Team were absolutely amazing and we will definitely come to you for help again in the future.
